HARMONY FARMS
The site consists of 40± acres located in the southwest quadrant of Collins Rd. and I-295. With 2,000+ front feet on the outside curve of I-295; Exposure and visibility are excellent. Access to the property is via Parramore Road. The property was rezoned to PUD in 2008 to allow for commercial, office, and hotel uses.
A new interchange from I-295 to Collins Rd. will begin construction in July 2009, and will unite the Orange Park, Argyle, Oakleaf Plantation, and Southwest Jacksonville communities and will relieve traffic on Blanding Blvd.
A potential site plan at Harmony Farms. The Southwest Citizen Planning Action Community (SWCPAC) envisioned a Collins Town Center at Collins Rd. and I-295. The Collins Town Center is an opportunity for urban / suburban redevelopment at an infill location. The new interchange will create a new “Front Door” or “Window” to Southwest Jacksonville and the Oakleaf, Argyle, and Orange Park neighborhoods. The Town Center concept will create a sense of place by providing a mix of retail, office, restaurant, and hotel uses.
