Thomas Dumas Inc. strongly believes in maintaining a responsible balance between development and the preservation of our natural resources. Our president has served on the Jacksonville Land Trust, the Department of Environmental Protection’s Ribault Task Force, the Guana Tolomato Matanzas National Estaurine Research Reserve Management Advisory Group, the Town Center Project Oversight Committee, and the Mayport Waterfront Partnership. Tom was an active member of Rotary, a past Chairman of the Civil Service Board of Jacksonville Beach and currently serves as Vice President of the Argyle Area Civic Council and is on the board on the Cecil Field Airport Advisory Committee. In addition, Tom has recently co-founded the Argyle Area Community Garden.

Thomas R. Dumas, President

Tom has over 30 years experience in commercial real estate brokerage, development and real estate asset management. Tom came to Florida as a naval aviator. After the completion of his military service, he received an MBA from the University of FL with a concentration in Real Estate and Urban Land. He gained local and national experience with major companies including: Southern Industrial Corporation, The Balcor Company, Cardinal Industries, Kimmins Corporation and Unit Properties. This combination of education and national, regional and local experience provides an in-depth background to creatively solve real property issues.

Shay Dumas Gillette, Project Manager

Shay is the newest member of the team.  Her previous work experience in land conservation and environmental restoration provides insight in balancing development with natural resource conservation. She holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Central Florida and a Master of Science from Appalachian State University. She currently serves on the boards of the Jacksonville Arboretum & Gardens, and the Westside Business Leaders.

Dinah Linton, Asst. to the President

Dinah has kept things running smoothly for over 12 years. She handles a number of diverse activities, from investor relations and property management to ably assisting in whatever endeavor she is called to participate in.
